Koyaike Park is an oasis for the rare wild birds in urban areas. It is one of the few habitats for migratory birds in Kansai area. Many water birds such as wild ducks will fly here in autumn and winter. And tourists can also see swans incubating their eggs and swimming with the small swans here. The park covers an area of 27.9 hectares.
Aramaki Rose Park
Aramaki Rose Park which covers an area of 1.7 hectares is a beautiful rose park full of the feeling of Southern Europe. About 10,000 roses in about 250 varieties from all over the world are blooming in the park.
In the "corner of local roses" here, many world-famous roses originated in Itami are planted, such as "Amatsu Otome" and "Madame Violet". Moreover, the "Hasselt corner" which is in relation to Itami's sister city and many other places are also worth visiting.
The florescence is from mid May to mid June and from mid October to mid November.
In the park, there is a peace monument composed of 3 pillars and an underground hall. And lectures, exhibitions and other events about flowers and greeneries will be held at the "Midori no Plaza" which locates in the southern part of the park.
Zugaike Park covers an area of 19.3 hectares and has a 1.6km-long running course trimming around the pond.
The surrounding area of the park is a famous spot for admiring the cherry blossoms. In Zugaike Park, which is a famous spot for admiring the beauty of cherry blossoms, visitors can view the cherry blossoms of about 600 cherry trees in 10 different varieties, most of which are Yoshino cherry trees.
In addition, the fitness and entertainment facilities are set at 17 places in the park. Visitors can go walking and running in the park which is a popular place good for physical and mental health.
