Itami City Museum of Art is open to the public throughout the year. Facing the beautiful Japanese garden, you can enjoy the exhibition of original picture books which is favored by people of all ages and the exhibition of the best pieces of Japanese modern oil paintings. The unique space of the museum is also used by contemporary artists to put on exhibitions.
Moreover, the collection of the caricatures by Honoré Daumier, who is one of the leading artists in the field of arts in 19th century France, has the largest scale in the world. Headed by Raoul Dufy's oil painting "Amphitrite", other works by contemporary European, American and Japanese artists are also collected.
